Dr. Mohamed Fathy Osman is currently working as Quality and Patient Safety Director in a leading tertiary care accredited hospital in Saudi Arabia. He has over 13 years’ experience in healthcare quality and accreditation processes with national and international regulatory bodies, and a total of 24 years’ experience in the healthcare sector. Mohamed brings clinical, educational, and administrative experience in health care and acute care in both governmental and private settings. He is working as International Surveyor and Leading Practice Reviewer with Accreditation Canada providing an expert opinion and evaluating leading practices within Canada.
During his career he hold many senior positions in healthcare management like Quality and Accreditation Consultant, ISQua Mintor Community, Senior Quality Ambassador with Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), Quality Management & Patient Safety Director, Quality and Risk Management Director, Quality Improvement Manager, Hospital Accreditation Advisor, and Regional Quality Manager.
Mohamed holds bachelor’s degree in Oral and Dental Medicine – Cairo University – Egypt, Fellowship in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery. He also holds FISQua (Fellowship of International Society for Quality in Health Care) - Ireland, Project Management Diploma from the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) – Germany, Patient Safety Specializations Diploma from Johns Hopkins University – USA, Healthcare Management Diploma from LMS - London School of International Business – UK, Healthcare Quality Excellence Diploma from AUC (American University in Cairo)- Egypt, and finally, MBA - Master of Business Administration – International Management, with Ascencia Business School, France.
