GHA LONGEVITY MEDICINE ACCREDITATION™

The Gold Standard for Longevity Medicine.

Independent accreditation for physician-led healthy longevity programs commited to extending healthspan, preserving function, and delivering evidence-informed, longitudinal care.

What is Longevity Medicine Accreditation?

Longevity medicine accreditation is an independent evaluation of whether a healthcare organization has the clinical governance, evidence discipline, and patient protections required to deliver longevity medicine responsibly. GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™ assesses the organization and its systems. it does not evaluate or endorse any individual treatment, test or product.

Healthy Longevity Needs a Standard

Longevity medicine is rapidly becoming an important part of preventive and personalized healthcare. Patients are asking how to remain healthier for longer. Health systems, employers, insurers, and other organizations are beginning to consider how healthy longevity can become part of a broader healthcare strategy. At the same time, the market includes services, technologies, tests, supplements, and interventions with widely varying levels of scientific support.

GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™ establishes an independent framework for organizations delivering comprehensive, physician-led longevity medicine. The accreditation is designed around a clear objective: advancing healthy longevity by extending healthspan, preserving function, reducing avoidable risk, and improving quality of life over time.

Longevity creates the demand. Healthspan defines the outcome. A standard establishes the trust.

More Than a Collection of Longevity Services

A credible longevity medicine program is not defined by the number of interventions it offers. IV therapies, hormone optimization, peptides, nutraceuticals, aesthetic services, isolated diagnostics, biological-age testing, or other individual modalities do not, by themselves, constitute a comprehensive healthy longevity program.

GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™ is built for organizations in which these and other services, when appropriate, operate within a comprehensive clinical system that includes physician leadership, patient assessment, evidence classification, individualized care planning, informed consent, safety controls, ongoing monitoring, appropriate referral pathways, and longitudinal reassessment.
Longevity medicine is not defined by the number of interventions a clinic offers. It is defined by how responsibly evidence, medicine, prevention, and longitudinal outcomes are brought together.

Evidence Is Foundational

GHA does not certify that an individual longevity intervention works, nor does accreditation substitute for regulatory approval, professional licensure, or independent scientific review. The role of accreditation is different: to evaluate whether an organization has the systems and disciplines necessary to understand the evidence, apply it responsibly, communicate its limitations honestly, protect patients, and operate within appropriate clinical, ethical, and regulatory boundaries.

The standards address evidence classification, emerging and investigational interventions, diagnostic and biomarker governance, biological-age technologies, physician qualifications, conflicts of interest, informed consent, outcomes, adverse-event monitoring, and claims integrity.

A longevity claim should never be stronger than the evidence supporting it. Accreditation should not make an unsupported intervention appear credible — it should make the evidence, and its limitations, more visible.

The Pathway from Accreditation to Excellence

GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™

STAGE 01

Organizations demonstrate compliance with the required clinical, safety, governance, evidence, and healthy longevity standards. The Gold Standard for Longevity Medicine™

Excellence in Longevity Medicine™

STAGE 02

Advanced recognition for organizations demonstrating capabilities and performance beyond the accreditation threshold, including the organizational maturity required to move from compliance toward demonstrable excellence.

Center of Excellence in Longevity Medicine™

STAGE 03

The highest GHA designation for qualifying organizations demonstrating sustained excellence, advanced capabilities, and measured performance. Center of Excellence is a separate designation and should not be represented as automatic upon accreditation.

How Long Does Accreditation Take,
and How Long Does It Last?

The accreditation process moves through five stages: inquiry and scoping, self-assessment against the standards, document review, on-site or virtual survey, and accreditation decision.

01

Inquiry & scoping

02

Self-assessment

03

Timelines vary with organizational readiness, scope, and the number of sites in the accreditation.
GHA does not charge for an initial scoping conversation.

ENTERPRISE READINESS™
FOR LONGEVITY MEDICINE

Clinical excellence asks, "Can you deliver excellent care?" Enterprise Readiness asks the next question: "Can a sophisticated organization trust you to deliver it at scale?"

Excellent care is only one part of becoming a trusted institutional partner. As longevity medicine expands beyond the individual self-pay market, sophisticated organizations will increasingly ask whether a provider can support larger populations and more complex relationships.

Enterprise Readiness for Longevity Medicine™ evaluates whether an organization has the governance, clinical independence, contracting capability, data and privacy infrastructure, operational resilience, scalability, and performance reporting needed to work responsibly with employers, insurers, health plans, hospital systems, multinational organizations, strategic partners, hospitality organizations, and other enterprise relationships.

Independent Accreditation. Scientific Accountability.

GHA's role is deliberately distinct from that of a professional society, university, research institution, regulator, or commercial longevity provider. Accreditation evaluates organizations against defined standards. It does not convert an emerging intervention into established science, confer regulatory approval, or replace the judgment of appropriately qualified clinicians.

This separation is essential in an emerging field where scientific authority, commercial interests, and accreditation should not become interchangeable.
GHA does not accredit promises. We accredit the systems, evidence disciplines, patient protections, and measurable performance behind responsible healthy longevity medicine.

How GHA Accreditation Differs From Related Credentials

The accreditation process moves through five stages: inquiry and scoping, self-assessment against the standards, document review, on-site or virtual survey, and accreditation decision.
CREDENTIAL
WHAT IT ESTABLISHES
WHO GRANTS IT
Medical licensure
An individual clinician is legally permitted to practise
Government or professional regulator
Regulatory approval
A specific drug, device, or biologic may be marketed for a stated use
National regulator (FDA, EMA, and equivalents)
Facility licensure
A site meets minimum legal operating requirements
Government health authority
GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™
An organization has the governance, evidence discipline, and patient protections to deliver longevity medicine responsibly
GHA, independently
Center of Excellence in Longevity Medicine™
Sustained excellence and measured performance beyond the accreditation threshold
GHA, as a separate later designation
Accreditation does not make a treatment work. It makes an organization accountable for how it decides which treatments to offer.

Who Is Eligible for GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation?

GHA Longevity Medicine Accreditation™ is intended for comprehensive physician-led longevity medicine centers, hospital-based longevity programs, preventive and executive health programs evolving toward longitudinal healthy longevity care, and other qualified healthcare organizations that can demonstrate the clinical scope, governance, evidence discipline, and patient protections required by the standards.

The program is not suited to organizations offering isolated wellness services without physician oversight, aesthetic or spa businesses without a clinical governance structure, supplement or device retailers, or direct-to-consumer testing services without a longitudinal care relationship. Product and platform companies supporting the longevity ecosystem should review GHA Certified for Longevity Medicine™ instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is longevity medicine?

Longevity medicine is a physician-led branch of preventive and personalized medicine focused on extending healthspan — the years a person lives in good health — rather than lifespan alone. It combines comprehensive assessment, biomarker and functional testing, individualized care planning, and long-term monitoring, and it is distinguished from consumer anti-aging services by clinical governance and longitudinal follow-up.

Does GHA accreditation mean a longevity treatment is proven to work?

No. GHA accreditation evaluates the organization, not the intervention. It does not certify that any individual therapy, test, supplement, or biological-age technology is effective, and it does not confer regulatory approval. Accreditation assesses whether the organization classifies evidence properly, discloses limitations to patients, and operates within appropriate clinical and regulatory boundaries.

What is the difference between longevity medicine and anti-aging medicine?

Anti-aging is a marketing category with no consistent clinical definition and is often associated with aesthetic services. Longevity medicine, as GHA uses the term, is physician-led clinical care organized around healthspan, functional preservation, risk reduction, and longitudinal reassessment. GHA accreditation is designed for the latter and is not available to aesthetic businesses without clinical governance.

What is healthspan?

Healthspan is the portion of life spent in good health, free of significant chronic disease and functional decline. It is distinct from lifespan, which measures duration alone. GHA standards use healthspan rather than lifespan as the organizing outcome, because extending years of function is clinically measurable in ways that extending total years is not.

Does a clinic need to offer specific therapies to qualify for accreditation?

No. GHA does not require or prohibit any particular intervention. IV therapies, hormone optimization, peptides, nutraceuticals, and biological-age testing may be present or absent. What matters is whether the services offered operate inside a clinical system with physician leadership, evidence classification, informed consent, safety controls, and longitudinal monitoring.

What is Enterprise Readiness™ in longevity medicine?

Enterprise Readiness™ is a GHA framework evaluating whether an accredited organization can support institutional relationships at scale — with employers, insurers, health plans, hospital systems, or multinational partners. It examines governance, contracting capability, data and privacy infrastructure, clinical independence, operational resilience, and performance reporting. It is an advanced layer, assessed separately from core accreditation.

Is Center of Excellence status automatic once a clinic is accredited?

No. Center of Excellence in Longevity Medicine™ is a separate designation, not a tier that arrives with accreditation. Organizations reaching the highest level of the accreditation framework may enter the pathway toward it, and recognition depends on sustained performance, advanced capability, and measured outcomes over time.

How is accreditation different from certification at GHA?

GHA accredits healthcare organizations that deliver care to patients — longevity medicine and regenerative medicine providers. GHA certifies laboratories, and the companies whose products, platforms, and services support longevity care. Both are independent evaluations against published standards; the distinction reflects whether the entity treats patients directly.
