This Cookie Policy applies to Global Healthcare Accreditation (“GHA”, “we”, “our” or “us”). Free Health Inc, WMT&GHC Inc, affiliated associations and subsidiaries of GHA, have also adopted this Cookie Policy. Where your data is being collected and used by the GHA, all references to GHA herein shall refer to the GHA, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and associations, as applicable.

Like most businesses, we employ “cookies” or similar technologies. This Cookie Policy tells you about the use of Cookies and similar technologies on the websites which link to this Cookie Policy from their site (collectively, “GHA Websites”).

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files containing a string of characters that we may store on your computer or mobile device when you visit a GHA Website.  When you visit the GHA Website again, the cookies allow us to recognize your browser. Cookies may store your preferences and other information but cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.

Cookies set by a website owner (in this case, GHA) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable us to provide third party features or functionality through the GHA Website (i.e. advertising, social media functions and analytics).

Web beacons allows us, for example, to monitor how users move from one page within our websites to another, to track access to our communications, to understand whether users have come to our websites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to measure how ads have been viewed and to improve site performance.

We do not use technology that recognizes a “do-not-track” signal from your web browser.

5. Targeted Advertising

Please note that third parties (including, for example, advertising networks and providers of external services like web traffic analysis services) use cookies, over which we have no control. These cookies are likely to be analytical/performance cookies or targeting cookies. These companies may use information about your visits to this and other websites to provide relevant advertisements about goods and service that you may be interested in. They may also employ technology that is used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements.
