Kate currently serves as the Director, Total Rewards at Hickory Springs Manufacturing Company. The role includes the areas of Benefits, Compensation, Work Compensation and Payroll. Kate’s experiences include, most recently, Director of Benefits for Reynolds American, a division of British American Tobacco. Other prior benefit related employment includes Hearst Corporation and Samsung. Kate also worked as a consultant for Willis Towers Watson.
Managing self-insured health plans has provided her the opportunity to think out of the box for reduced healthcare cost programs including direct contracting, on site clinics, chronic disease management, and medical tourism. With IndusHealth, HSM was a pioneer in self-insured companies offering medical tourism, as was presented on ABC News and Nightline.
