With high-profile destinations such as Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, Southeast Asia has been a dominant region for medical travel for more than a decade. This past year GHA has made its presence known in the region, having accredited Bumrungrad International Hospital in Thailand, in addition to organizing several educational workshops and participating in meetings with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors. We are happy to announce that at the end of this week Karen Timmons, GHA's Chief Executive Officer, will travel to Thailand and Malaysia to meet with healthcare providers and other stakeholders seeking to collaborate with GHA. Global Healthcare Accreditation for Medical Travel Standards 5.0 have been accredited by The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), through its recently formed accrediting arm, The International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association (IEEA).
