Mr. Amal Vimalan is a seasoned expert committed to raising healthcare standards and patient safety. He has over 12 years of substantial experience in the field of healthcare quality. He currently holds the position of Senior Clinical Quality Officer at the Dubai Academic Health Corporation, where he plays a key role in ensuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery and safety.
Mr. Vimalan has actively participated in and managed the implementation of numerous international standards, including primary care, ambulatory, homecare, and hospital standards set by Joint Commission International (JCI). His knowledge includes Accreditation Canada requirements, and he has been instrumental in maintaining compliance in his healthcare facility. Mr. Vimalan works for Accreditation Canada International as a surveyor in addition to his position.
Mr. Vimalan’s qualifications include a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Hospital Administration, complemented by a bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology. He holds esteemed certifications such as the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB), demonstrating his commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in healthcare.
